Restorative Yoga focuses on inviting relaxation by spending time in fully supported poses from 5-20 minutes. This practice cultivates stillness, teaches us how to rest, and helps reset the nervous system to relieve stress.

Personalized Yoga Instruction to Fit Your Needs
I offer individual therapeutically-focused yoga classes for students interested in learning about yoga as a healing practice. This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in exploring the rich depth and traditions of what yoga has to offer the whole self: mind, body, and spirit. Lessons can include:
specialized movement sequences and breathing techniques to address your needs and goals
yoga to support mental wellness and holistic healing
development of a personal home practice
relaxing, restorative yoga
spiritual and philosophical exploration
Students for individual lessons will be considering on a case-by-case basis to ensure we’ll be a good fit. We usually start with a phone consultation and then schedule 4 to 6 lessons over the course of a few months (meeting every other week). During these lessons we will build a solid foundation for your yoga practice so that you can confidently practice at home. After that, we can schedule on an as-needed basis, but additional lessons are not always necessary. Lessons are charged on a sliding scale: in studio lessons $80-100 / per lesson and in home lessons: $60-80 / per lesson.
